Reusable agent processes in Copilot
Dynamic workflows define how a task is carried out, combining automated steps with one or more agents. The steps can run sequentially, in parallel, or both, with code defining when agents are involved and how their results are used.
GitHub says workflows can run commands, use tools or services, pass structured results between stages, and have subagents verify findings. They can also request user input when the client supports it, or pause at a checkpoint for review and later resumption.

Plan availability and setup
The feature is available on all Copilot plans and is in public preview. Dynamic workflows are always available in the GitHub Copilot app without setup. In Copilot CLI, users need the latest version and must enable experimental features with the --experimental option or /experimental on in an interactive session.
