What is different from the Mac app

  • Mac-only for now: desktop widgets, iCloud sync between Macs, the iPhone companion and Homebrew installs.
  • Windows 10: the readout shows in a small window beside the taskbar rather than inside it, which needs Windows 11.
  • Code signing: the installer is not signed yet, which is why SmartScreen asks once. A certificate is on the way.
  • Pro for Teams: the company plan covers Macs only for now. Windows teams, email us.

Yes. Which versions of Windows does it support?
Windows 10 (version 2004) or later and Windows 11, on x64 and ARM64 PCs. On Windows 11 the readout sits inside the taskbar; on Windows 10 it appears in a small window beside the taskbar instead.
I already bought SessionWatcher for my Mac. Do I pay again for Windows?
No. One licence key works on both. Paste the key you already have; the PC counts as one of your plan's devices. Solo and Bundle cover 1 device, Pro covers up to 5, in any mix of Macs and Windows PCs.

Why does Windows say "Windows protected your PC"?
The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may show "Windows protected your PC" the first time. Click More info, then Run anyway. It only asks once.
Does it read my code or my conversations?
No. SessionWatcher reads usage statistics, from the local logins and logs your AI tools already keep, and nothing else. Keys you add for providers such as OpenRouter are stored in Windows Credential Manager.
How does it update?
It checks for updates by itself and installs them the next time the app restarts. There is nothing to download by hand after the first install.
What does the Mac app have that the Windows app does not?
Desktop widgets, iCloud sync between Macs, the iPhone companion and Homebrew installs are Mac-only. Tracking, the 20 tools, notifications, multiple accounts, charts and pace are on both.
Can my company buy it for a team of Windows developers?
