Install with Homebrew

Install

$ brew install --cask sessionwatcher

SessionWatcher is in official homebrew-cask, so that’s the whole thing – no tap to add and nothing to trust first.

If you followed older instructions that ran brew tap soren-starck/tap and brew trust soren-starck/tap first, those are obsolete. The third-party tap is superseded by the official cask, and the single command above replaces all three. Already on the old tap? Run brew untap soren-starck/tap and reinstall.

Update

$ brew upgrade --cask sessionwatcher

SessionWatcher also updates itself automatically in the background, so this is optional – both ways keep you on the latest version.

Uninstall

$ brew uninstall --cask sessionwatcher

Add --zap to also remove preferences and cached data.
